Earl Jerome Battle is the founder and executive leader of the Vermont School of Fashion Design, where he oversees institutional development, curriculum design, and community partnerships focused on fashion design education. A fashion designer and creative director with runway experience in Atlanta, New York, and Boston, Earl specializes in garment construction, creative entrepreneurship, and developing arts-education programs. He has led the creation of VSFD’s mission and governance structure, branding, and capital campaign strategy to secure funding, positioning the Vermont fashion school as a future hub for fashion programs and textile arts.
